Slightly over two weeks to the O's

Self explanatory title. Cant believe its so close at hand. Geogs been killing me over and over again until I swear i can hear the Unreal Tournament announcer screaming "Holy Sh!t!" Soon the O levels will be over, and soon I will be taking my A levels, and soon I will be going into the Army, and assuming I survive I will soon be working, I will soon have a family and I will soon be dead. Life is short. Like my history essays.

BY THE LOVE OF GOD ITS ALL OVER! Another frag fest today

Summary

1. Endless War2 : Flash game that features alot of blood and bullets. Fun tho. Go search

2. Counter Strike : The classic SpecialForces vs Terrorist action shooter is back! LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOOR!!!!! Used the machine gun alot today. 100 bullets. What you cant make up for in quality, make up in QUANTITY! Also, dual pistols are fun. Its not effective, but its a good substitute for playing Trinity in the Matrix.

3. Battlefield 2 : Boring.... shoot shoot shoot... get shot.... survived thanks to medic... got shot again... But o well, the Helicopter was fun.

3. Doom 3 COOP : i THOUGHT it would be fun. Turned out to be worse than BF2. Boring maps, boring monsters...... lame rock music.... sigh....

4. Halo 2 : The usual, except we tried the game on heroic difficulty which is VERY hard. It takes more than one tank shell to kill the stupid enemies on light vehicles now, and the enemies sure can aim better. *Curse curse curse* In deathmatch, Adil kept uttering stuff in warhammer 40k. In case yall dunno, its this game where the humans are fanatically loyal to their emperor and will stop at nothing to kill their enemies. "FOR THE EMPEROR!!!!" yells adil. he shoots a rocket, and barely misses Isaac. "DIE XENOS SCUM!" Xenos is a term for alien in the game. O yeah, he shoots another rocket, and hits Isaac this time. ouch. His body went flying.

O well, AM paper 1 was easy enough. Not much tougher than prep-prelim. No relative velocity so far. But for paper 2 its coming out. sigh..... and i wont have time to revise that cos my geog is in the danger zone.

English paper 1 was average anderson difficulty. This means B4. Good enough I guess. Wrote about something very similar to what happened in the Splinter Cell korean mission. Im too obsessed with games.....zzzzzzOMG

Steve Irwin Tribute

The title says it all. This post is dedicated to the great, late, "Crocodile Dundee" Steve Irwin. He was always living life close to the edge, acting like he didnt treasure it at all. But looking back on how much he has done all these years, I realise, he was risking his life so that we might come to understand Mother Nature better. I hope his cause will not be lost, that we might one day learn not to suck Mother Nature of all her resources, and kill all of her children just for coats that will one day be reduced to nothing. Steve Irwin died doing what he loved best. An ignominious way to die. Thats one consolation for him. Thank God that he didnt die while he was cooking dinner, or got shot by some animal-hater extremist. O well thats about it I guess. R.I.P Croc Hunter! I'm sure your children will continue your work for you. Rest easy. Cheers mate!

Slightly over a week till Mission Impossible : Anderson. Our prelims are gonna be a whole lot tougher than the o levels. Dammit i need my 2 points, cos me chinese blows too hard for me to take higher chinese. Why o why.... Its like preparing to fight an army first before fighting a singular soldier. O well, back to revision. Cya

Gaming gathering 8th August

It's National Day eve and me and the guild aint giving a rats ass about it. Had another frag fest.

Main Events : 1. Halo 2
We got pwnd by the Flood. The zombies that they create are really annoying. In Cooperative mode we always got mowed down. We had to resort to clearing the Flood singlehandedly while the other person slacked at the back, serving as a spawn point so that we could continue. I hate the Flood.

In multiplayer, Isaac got pwnd by Adil's pistols. Nuff said.

Main Events : 2. Battlefield 2

Summary of all the stupid stuff we did. 1. Start a game without bots so that the huge map eventually persuaded to start another game with bots by boring us to death with very little encounters.

2. I commanded the airforce to drop a buggy for me. I ran right under it and got squashed. I swear a week ago the Battlefield 2 engine wasnt so realistic.

3. Artilleried the enemy base and drove right into an artillery explosion.

4. Flew jets upside down

Main Events : 3. Act Of War
RTS game. Isaac built tactical weapons of mass destruction, and after we annhilated the enemy, the game was still ongoing. Isaac used the excess money to build even more. In a normal game you usually build about 2 tactical weapons. Isaac built a grand total of 13.

Main Events : 4. Ghost recon advanced warfighter
The slow pace of the game made us resort to hiding in the shadows and picking off each other. Grenades are so overpowered. They were gayyyy. I vow never to use grenades again lest i own all their asses 2 times over.

Oh well, that was my evening rant about our gathering. Thank you for wasting 3 minutes of you time. God Bless. NOW ON TO THE O LEVELS!

Whee.... its another Friday, and another late nighter for me. This weeks been terrible. Lessons so hard to actually pay attention to. Why didn't they just leave the bloody boring topics to the beginning of this year? We're all burnt out.... O well, we have to force a recovery. Prelims upcoming.

Australian Maths Competition

This paper was either too easy or too hard. Questions range from easy ones like "Whats 2.92-1.68" to impossible ones like "If there are n integers adding up to 19, whats the largest product" Bottom line : Australian maths aint NOTHING like GCE maths. You can't study for it.

Oh well.... Nuff said. XM-2006 ready for extraction
